I was hesitant on buying this product but im sure glad I did. It instantly works upon plug in. My truck is staying at 8 cylinders an they do give you a paperwork in it that states if your vehicle is gonna set for a couple days an not be driven to unplug the device cuz it could drain your battery. I’m even getting alittle better gas mileage in my truck from 16.1 to 18.4 mpg now.

The device works perfectly on my 2012 Suburban. No more AFM switching and the transmission feels way happier. The only reason for 4 stars is the blue LED light on it is pretty bright at night since my OBD port faces down towards the floorboard, but a small piece of black electrical tape fixed that easily. Recommended.

Honestly I was worried this might throw a check engine light or mess with my emissions testing, but it's been a month and zero issues. My 2016 Chevy truck drives like a real V8 now. The shifting is crisp and that annoying shudder at 45mph is completely gone. I'm actually getting slightly better MPG in the city because the engine isn't constantly hunting for the right mode.
